Land at Winneycroft Lane is proposed to form a sustainable urban extension to southern Gloucester, located between the existing suburb of Matson and the M5 motorway. The proposed scheme was developed in on-going consultation with key stakeholders and the local community. Set within an established landscape, up to 420 new homes will benefit from a substantial new network of open spaces serving a variety of community, technical and ecological functions, as well as exploiting the opportunity to better connect the existing settlement with open spaces beyond the M5.
