Based in our vibrant Cardiff office, mid-way between the city centre and the Bay, our ideal candidate would possess extensive post-qualification experience gained in a practice working on design and planning projects at a variety of scales. You will have an established network of contacts with a good knowledge of the local areas and authorities.


You will share our desire to create environmentally-responsive and exceptional places; and be at the leading edge of professional best practice.


This is an excellent opportunity for you to develop your professional skills and technical ability through working with our existing team of experienced and respected Landscape Architects as well as the wider EDP team. This post offers the successful candidate a wealth of experience encompassing landscape alongside and in partnership with also aspects of ecology, heritage, masterplanning and arboriculture.


You will be a confident Landscape Architect with drive, ambition and a self-confident approach. You will be required to ‘hit the ground running’ – therefore, you will need to be a competent designer or landscape planner, be decisive by nature, proactive and have excellent interpersonal and communication skills.


Ideally, you will be proficient in the use of AutoCAD and the Adobe Creative Suite, and the standard Microsoft packages. For the design roles, it will be advantageous (although not essential) if you have experience in working within a Building Information Modelling (BIM) environment, and/or experience in using Autodesk Revit or GIS packages.
