Project Update: Plasdŵr - NW Cardiff
The EDP Team are delighted to announce further headway towards meeting Cardiff’s housing requirements following the City Councils approval of Redrow Homes’ 290 unit Pentrebane Road scheme. The development constitutes the second phase of Plasdŵr - a £2 billion development planned for north west Cardiff comprising around 7000 new homes plus shops, offices, schools, health centres, leisure centres, pubs and restaurants. EDP has been involved in the promotion of this site for over 10 years – providing input on all our core disciplines and assisting Redrow Homes and the Plymouth Estates in fulfilling the vision to create a world-class sustainable community, blending heritage with contemporary living in a country park setting. Plasdŵr takes its inspiration from the enduring garden city movement, founded on the principles of ‘fresh air, sunlight, breathing room and playing room’.
